This policy is designed to ensure safe and responsible internet and social media use by all club members, with special attention to protecting minors from online risks.
Scope of the Policy
This policy applies to all digital platforms used by the club, including the official website, social media accounts, and any online communications tools used by members, coaches, and volunteers.

Responsibilities

Social Media Managers and Coaches
Monitor online interactions and ensure the content shared is appropriate and secure.
All Club Members
Must adhere to this policy and respect online safety guidelines.
Guidelines for Safe Use
Privacy Settings
Members should be advised to use privacy settings on personal and club social media accounts to control who can see posted content.
Appropriate Content
All content posted on behalf of the club must be appropriate and respectful. Content that includes bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate language is strictly prohibited.
Personal Information
Members, especially minors, should not share personal information such as home addresses, phone numbers, or personal images without parental consent.
Monitoring and Moderation
All club-related communication channels will be regularly monitored to ensure compliance with this policy. Inappropriate posts or comments will be removed promptly.
Permission for Images and Videos
Before publishing images or videos that include minors, written consent must be obtained from members or their parents/guardians.

Any concerns about breaches of this policy or inappropriate online behaviour should be reported immediately to the Child Welfare Officer or designated social media manager.
